What a great day, with warm weather, lots of nervous energy and a smart looking group of boys arrives at Toodyay oval for what some expected might be the Ressies first loss in years. Ressies were very short on numbers so thankfully the young kids around town were able to play before they went back to school. The orange shorters gave the team the burst of fitness and speed that it needed to help the consistent and faithful team leaders go about their business, JC, Dozer and Chucky holding strong and giving the young guns every opportunity to score. Well done Ressies, a little slow to get on the board while you got used to playing together in your first game of the year, you made the club proud and ran away with another very professional win, congratulations to Dozer as coach and Chucky the new Captain, and a big welcome to the new boys !!!!!
